POLY-FLO FILTER MEDIA
POLY-FLO filter media is a UV resistant and durable non woven polyester blend, the leading filter media in pond filtration. Due to various handling procedures and humidity during the manufacturing process, thickness is approximate, and may vary somewhat from batch to batch. This in no way affects the material’s quality. Short and Master rolls are not UPS-able. The 28” mini rolls are able to ship via UPS Outside our delivery area, bulk master rolls are drop shipped by common carrier.
We recommend using both coarse and medium density media for mechanical filtering, then additional coarse media for biological filtering, so biological media does not quickly become clogged. Water passing through first coarse, then medium densities gives better filtering while minimizing clogging.
Black is the most popular, as it is sturdy, blends in, and has the best UV resistance. |
